From the hippie left Mother Jones website, lefty goonies are finally alarmed at something Dear Leader is getting his congressional lackeys to try and implement into law: “Senators John Rockefeller (D-W. Va.) and Olympia Snowe (RINO-Maine) … introduced a bill to establish the Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor—an arm of the executive branch that would have vast power to monitor and control Internet traffic to protect against threats to critical cyber infrastructure. That broad power is rattling some civil libertarians.”
I don’t have the stomach to cruise lefty websites like Huffpo or DailyKos to see what the mood is like, but this was an eye-opener. So far, most of the 150 commenters are pissed by this latest proposed fascist takeover of a freedom of speech. Thank God the Kool-aid is wearing off and they’ll see what conservatives have been trying to warn the lemming masses about for over a year now.

The famous White House TelePrompTer – let’s nickname him Binky since he has a mind of his own and he’s obviously in charge of things – had itself a bit o’blarney fun on St. Paddy’s day yesterday when it deliberately gaffed at a Press Conference in which Nobama spoke along side Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen.
The PM was a few paragraphs into an address at an Irish celebration at the White House when he realized something sounded way too familiar. Turns out, he was…giving word for word the speech that Obama had just read from the same teleprompter. Cowen stopped and looked back at the president to say, “That’s your speech.”
BAD BAD BINKY!
NObama giggled his rainbows-and-unicorns-are cute laugh and returned to the podium to offer what might have been Cowen’s remarks. In doing so, President Obama thanked HIMSELF for inviting everyone over.
When will the MSM call THE ONE on his lack of ability to speak extemporaneously and his constant need to use a script, even to say a few words to a worshipping crowd of reporters? If President Bush or Governor Palin needed this crutch every. single. day. why then Letterman, Leno, and Stewart would have enough material for years.

Do We Worry About Global Warming … After Armaggedon?
There are global threats abound – like a nuclear bomb happy Iran, the maniacle dictator with nuclear aspirations in North Korea, a flush-with-cash China building a shock-and-awe Navy, a failing former ally in Pakistan, and other serious growing problems, yet the United States is headed by an inexperienced, naive, and pathological narcissistic young President who is reportedly “facing exhaustion over America’s economic crisis and is unable to focus on foreign affairs.”
Obonga still has a 58% approval rating so its not like the unwashed masses have awoke from their Kool-Aid slumber and realized “The Won” isn’t “the one.” Maybe a few of them still read the left-wing rag, Newsweek, and caught Robert Samuelson‘s calling out of The Teleprompter One:
Barack Obama is a great pretender. He constantly says he’s doing things that he isn’t, and he relies on his powerful rhetoric to obscure the difference. He has made “responsibility” a personal theme, and the budget’s cover line is “A New Era of Responsibility.” He claims that the budget begins “making the tough choices necessary to restore fiscal discipline.” It doesn’t.
A prudent president would have made a “tough choice”— concentrated on the economy, deferred his more contentious agenda. Similarly, Obama claims to seek bipartisanship but, in reality, doesn’t.
It is Obama’s conceit—perhaps his cockiness—that he can ignore blatant inconsistencies. Like many smart people, he believes he can talk his way around any problem. Perhaps he can. In this, he has an ally in much of the mainstream media, which seem so enthralled with him that they can’t recognize glaring contradictions. During the campaign, Obama claimed he would change Washington’s petty partisanship; he also advocated a highly partisan agenda. Both claims could not be true. The media barely noticed; the same obliviousness persists. But Obama still runs a risk: that his overworked rhetoric loses its power and boomerangs on him.”
Congress Gives Self an 11% Raise. How are You Doing?
Ahh, to be stuck in a dead-end job like Congress where lawmakers typically experience a 90% re-election rate and then have to put in a tough 3-day work week for which they work all of 6 or 7 months a year. Uh, when they show up. Not that they have to show up that often. But for all this hard work, the Pelosi-Reid House of Thieves just gave themselves a raise and now make $174,000 a year.
Oh, and they all needed a little spending money, so each gets an extra $93,000 in petty cash to spend this year. Have a nice day, tax suckers!

Let’s look at that Bush budget deficit: it $162 billion in FY2007 or slightly more than 1 percent of GDP. This was less than the growth of GDP, so the burden of debt was in decline. Then Democrats took over in January 2007 and have nearly tripled the deficit. Since then they have increased it by at least another factor of 3, for the highest ever deficit since WWII (about 10 percent of GDP).

When the Democrats regained control of Congress on January 4, 2007, the national debt was $8.67 trillion.
In the two years Pelosi and the Democrats have been in charge, the national debt has grown to $10.70 trillion. That means $2.03 trillion has been added to the national debt for an increase of 23% increase in two years the Democrats have controlled Congress.
Add to that the $1.3 trillion in spending the Dems added just this week! But then, February isn’t over yet…
Big Hollywood’s Review on Ziegler’s Film
Big Hollywood was given an exclusive first look at John Ziegler’s latest documentary covering the media coverage of the 2008 presidential election.
In journalistic terms it’s called a “tick-tock.” This is when the media crafts a news story that takes you behind the scenes of an event and breaks down, piece by linear piece, the individual acts which led up to that event. With “Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected and Palin Was Targeted,” director John Ziegler (”Blocking the Path to 9/11“) turns the art of the tick-tock around and aims it, with damning effect, squarely at the news media. The result is not a documentary, at least not for anyone who believes in truth, fairness or journalistic integrity – the result is a horror film.
Palin haters will be disappointed. Included in the DVD is Ziegler’s full 45-minute interview with the Governor, snippets of which were released earlier in the year to great media uproar for her daring to criticize the likes of Katie Couric. Ziegler has the Governor watch and comment on the harshest coverage she received, some of it [she is seeing] for the first time, and her impressive poise, good humor, and graciousness, while witnessing the lies and attacks on her family, remains intact. Whatever effect this vicious and partisan coverage may have had on her future is yet to be seen, but that she hasn’t allowed it to get under her skin is obvious.

Once Neutral Swiss Declare War on United States
Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is demanding that Switzerland end its centuries of bank privacy so Barack Obama’s administration can snoop through the bank records for shits and giggles to see if rich Americans are hiding money from the IRS there.
Tax Cheat Tim Geithner has no problemo not paying his own taxes, but now that he has the power of the US Treasury behind him, he’s all in for threatening and punishing any non-Democrat tax dodger. Let’s hope the Swiss tell him where to piss.
Reuters reported: “The right-wing Swiss People’s Party (SVP) called on Saturday for retaliation against the United States over a U.S. tax probe into the country’s biggest bank UBS that threatens prized banking secrecy…Switzerland should also reconsider its policy of representing the United States in countries where it has no diplomatic presence, the parliamentary SVP said in a statement.”
How bad is Geithner? Even Obama head cheerleader Chris “My leg is tingling” Matthews on MSNBC observed of the head of the United States Treasury, “He seems like Barney Fife to me.”
