Figuring Out Obama’s Plan?

‘Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power.” — Benito Mussolini

“…In the technical sense, in the economic definition of a what a socialist is, no, [Obama]‘s not a socialist. He’s a corporatist. And unfortunately we have corporatists inside the Republican party and that means you take care of corporations and corporations take over and run the country.” – Ron Paul

Good Point

Good point from IMAO on why you shouldn’t put democrats in charge of the economy:

Think about this: if you put a bunch of monkeys in a room and let them run loose, and they caused damage to the walls and furniture, would you then give those same monkeys hammers, nails, and paint, asking them to fix things?

No, you’d remove the monkeys and deal with the consequences …but then, it was your fault for putting the monkeys in charge to start with.

In case you missed it, them monkeys? Democrats. Keep that in mind in November.

Alfonzo Serves, the NYTs Blows

The NYT’s Charles Blow looked for “diversity” at a recent tea party, but sadly (to him) only found unity. Alfonzo Rachel lets him have it and gives him own observations that blacks are WELCOME at the Tea Parties:

Palin Email Hack Led to Threatening Phone Calls

April 22, 2010 · Posted in Sarah Palin · Comments Off

Least you think that the Palin E-mail hacking incident during the 2008 election was a small matter of some punk getting access to her private email for a “look-see” and some naughty snooping, think again. The Tennessee asshole, who describes himself as an O-bot, WROTE and SENT very disturbing emails to Sarah Palin’s friends and family, pretending to be the governor.  That’s identity theft and this little asshole has no defense against that.

He also published Bristol Palin’s phone number online, and the 17-year-old got countless threatening anonymous phone calls and text messages from disturbed People on The Left:

The AP reported:

Palin in Canada

April 16, 2010 · Posted in Sarah Palin · Comments Off

Curent maverick and former Alaska governor Sarah Palin told a crowd of paying Canadians Thursday that religion helped her get through two family crises in 2008  –the first was  learning that her youngest son was going to be born with Down syndrome and then finding out that her teenage daughter was pregnant.

Palin noted that both her grandfathers were from Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and that her family took many trips back and forth across the border from Alaska when she was a child.

Check out more comments and reports of the event from the Hamilton Spectator, Canwest News Service, and Vancouver Sun.

Peaceful Tea Party Protest

April 16, 2010 · Posted in tea party · Comments Off

Yesterday’s Tea Party’s were a huge success: thousands and thousands of Tea Partiers took to the street and no one was arrested. No riots. No broken windows. No anarchy.

Not like the protests of the Left, eh?

Like those who are union thugs with the  SEIU – oh, 25 of them were arrested at a rally in Ohio to force a company to allow the union to take over their workforce. The Dispatch reports.

As for peaceful tea party rallies, here are photos from New York, Atlanta, Washington DC, Chicago, Irvine and St. Louis.

Why Sarah Palin Drives the Elites Crazy

April 10, 2010 · Posted in Sarah Palin · Comments Off

Rex Murphy at the National Post has one of the best written, most insightful commentaries on the political and cultural tsunami named Sarah Palin:

Among the many delightful characteristics of Sarah Palin is her seemingly unfailing capacity to capture Barack Obama’s angry attention. This week, she criticized his new nuclear policy. Obama responded by saying “I really have no response to that,” which was, I think we’ll all agree, an awkward prelude to his … response. He went on with: “The last I checked, Sarah Palin is not much of an expert on nuclear issues.” Well, colour me huffy.

The last time anyone else checked, neither is Barack Obama. Chicago politics is no richer in seminars on the finer points of nuclear politics than those of Alaska.

She, by rights, should be queen of the feminists. All that self-reliance, her takeover of Alaska politics, the rocket ride to a Vice-Presidential ticket, a public career she blends with her family life– these seem gold-standard credentials for a real feminist. But official feminism derides herewith an unspeakable intensity. Her early critics were not beyond the inane claim that she was somehow not really a woman.

But there she is, in all her roughness and candour, and her spiky wit and ability to irritate her self-nominated betters. She also happens to be the most naturally charismatic politician at the moment in the United States. She is the one major figure who can claim authenticity without morally choking on the word.

Joining a nationwide effort to challenge the authority of the federal government over states rights, Idaho Gov. Butch Otter today made his state the 7th to exempt guns made and kept in the state from any federal regulations.

Idaho joins Montana, Tennessee, Wyoming, South Dakota, Utah and Arizona in defiance. At least another 24 states are considering similar legislation.
