Palin is A Political Alpha
Why do conservatives support Sarah Palin? It is because she is not afraid to speak out on issues, and with her uncanny political instincts, she has often been the FIRST one to comment or take a stand on issues of the day – usually days or weeks before the GOP “leaders” jump on the “me too!” bandwagon. (Witness: Death panels and energy issues this fall, warnings of Obama’s ideology last fall.)
That’s being a leader, not a follower.
Yet, the dinosaur media and the GOP will not acknowledge Palin as a PRIME MOVER in the conservative groundswell moving over this nation. Mitt and Huck? They won’t take a stand for fear of rocking the boat. And our Sarah? She’s at the tiller and plowing into the storm.
Enjoy this well-stated observation from Grant Ellis (via American Thinker) on the critical NY23 congressional race:
Mitt Romney Votes Present
Grant Ellis
As reported here by ABC news (online), Mitt Romney “…doesn’t plan to make any endorsement at all” regarding the contentious NY23 Congressional race. What does this say about Mitt? When balanced against Sarah Palin’s political courage, it seems telling. Sarah is a political alpha, a leader for the future. Mitt, in spite of his genuine conservatism and mastery of issues, is almost certainly not.
You have to look no further to see why conservatives are so passionate about their support for Palin. Regardless of the arguable notion that she has yet to fully mature, she commands a degree of respect that eludes all others currently on the conservative scene. The reason? She is unwilling (and perhaps unable) to couch her views in muted, plausibly deniable tones. Regardless of the outcome of NY23, Palin wins. She drives debate. She leads. She is “out there” when and where others fear to tread.
Note that Huckabee and Pence remain on the sidelines where NY23 is concerned.
Political courage is interesting to witness, perhaps because it’s so rare.
Viva La Revolucion! Palin Endorses Conservative Hoffman
Viva la Revolucion! Sarah Palin has stepped her butt-kicking high heels into the New York congressional raced and endorsed Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman to represent the 23rd Congressional Distric. This is a real shot across the bow of the RINO crowd who are trying to pull the GOP to follow along behind the democrats.
Our Sarah posted this on her Facebook account:
…Doug Hoffman stands for the principles that all Republicans should share: smaller government, lower taxes, strong national defense, and a commitment to individual liberty.
Political parties must stand for something. When Republicans were in the wilderness in the late 1970s, Ronald Reagan knew that the doctrine of “blurring the lines” between parties was not an appropriate way to win elections. Unfortunately, the Republican Party today has decided to choose a candidate who more than blurs the lines, and there is no real difference between the Democrat and the Republican in this race. This is why Doug Hoffman is running on the Conservative Party’s ticket.
Republicans and conservatives around the country are sending an important message to the Republican establishment in their outstanding grassroots support for Doug Hoffman: no more politics as usual.

Sarah couldn’t be dropping bigger hints to Newt, Mitt, Huck, T-Paw and the rest if she smacked em in the face. Are you listening, John McCain? Sarah Palin is what a real maverick looks and sounds like.
Thanks to GOP safe pick and RINO Dede Scozzafava for the being the first sacrificial lamb: this could be the Tea Party movement’s first grassroots victory at the ballot box. Let’s roll!
The Birds Barbie Doll for Halloween
Now I’m sorry I live such a secluded life. Who knew there was an Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘The Birds’ Barbie Doll? It’s Tippy Hedron! Attacked by crows in the schoolyard! Ha. Actually, it came out last Halloween but this is the first time I’ve seen it. They didn’t have these things when I was a kid.

Sarah Palin on HealthCare: Vouchers
Sarah Palin posted on her Facebook an opinion on health care. She pointed out how Obamacare will raise premiums which will make health care less affordable for all Americans. She also pointed out an interesting and legitimate solution:
Vouchers.
She observes the bleeding obvious, that if you force health insurance companies to stop denying coverage for pre-existing conditions, it will spell disaster: under Obamacare a single person can simply pay the gov’ment fine of $750 a year and not buy insurance. Then, when you fall smash into a tree when skiing, you sign up for health care after you’ve been treated. You hand the insurance company a check for the first month’s premium, say $300, they hand you a policy, and you hand them a bill for $20,000. We all know that’s how it will be with this plan as written, but it won’t work. Obamacare is a disaster waiting to happen.
Governor Palin points out that Tort Reform should be the first step:
Americans want health care reform because we want affordable health care. We don’t need subsidies or a public option. We don’t need a nationalized health care industry. We need to reduce health care costs. But the Senate Finance plan will dramatically increase those costs, all the while ignoring common sense cost-saving measures like tort reform. Though a Congressional Budget Office report confirmed that reforming medical malpractice and liability laws could save as much as $54 billion over the next ten years, tort reform is nowhere to be found in the Senate Finance bill.
Her next three points are also dead-on: allow individuals to purchase insurance across state lines; tax deductions for taxpayers who purchase their own plans; give Medicare recipients vouchers so that they can purchase their own plans.
Go to Palin’s Facebook page to read her piece, “Good Intentions Aren’t Enough With Health Care Reform“. We needs this woman. She fights.
Meghan McCain at 14 Minutes, 59 seconds
Meghan McCain: You 15 minutes of fame are nearly up.
How ironic that you choose to show an Andy Warhol book alongside that ass on your chest in your Twitter post.
Yeah, we get it. You’re John McCain’s daughter. You’re a rebel … er, maverick.
Now because everyone made fun of her for posting this self-portrait (and talking about her boobs for the last three months), she’s threatening to delete her Twitter account.
I wonder if she even understands what Warhol meant when he said that everyone would be famous for 15 minutes?
Palin Going Rogue – With a New Party?
The blogosphere is abuzz about a rumor than Governor Sarah Palin is about to start a new political party. It’s been tried before by independents such as John Anderson, Ralph Nader, and Ross Perot, but can our Sarah really launch a viable alternative to the Democrat Party and Democrat-Lite (formerly Republican) party?

Sarah Palin ready for a new party?
According to stories in the The New York Post and sister publication, The Wall Street Journal, Palin’s new group will be called “Stand Up For Our Nation.” (Bleh! Please God, no. “The Tea Party” would be a better moniker, but then this may not be a third political party at all – it could be a name for some kind of movement.)
“There will be an announcement about it coming up,” Palin associate Tim Crawford said Wednesday. Crawford, the treasurer of SarahPAC, would not give any further detail’s about the mysterious organization.
An alternative party? Brilliant, Sarah! Can you hear the sounds of RINO and Lefty heads exploding all over the country when they hear the news?
No question that true conservatives are fighting a losing battle shouting to be heard in the RINO party that is dominated by McCain, Romney, Pawlenty, Graham and other left-of-center “moderates.”
With this latest Palin news, it seems to explain why some in the GOP have been acting weird lately, and not just over the health care bill. They are afraid of Sarah as much as the left is, but in the case of McCain and Romney and their lame lackeys, they are nervous about being left out in the cold when Palin rises to the top. I have a feeling she’s gracious and a good sport, but she has a long memory of those who undermined her and especially those who attacked her family. They will not be marching along side her, but issuing smears through unnamed GOP “consultants.”
Don’tcha love it? Go Sarah!
Pawlenty Receives The Kiss of Death
Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R) has enlisted a number of GOP strategists from John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign. Among those getting on the Pawlenty bandwagon are Douglas Holtz-Eakin and Randy Scheunemann, two top policy advisers from the McCain presidential campaign who have joined the Minnesota governor’s host committee.
“Lots of folks want to learn more about how Gov. Pawlenty successfully governed as a conservative in a traditionally liberal-leaning state,” said Alex Conant, Pawlenty’s spokesman. “His innovative, conservative leadership is drawing a broad spectrum of people eager to help.”
The policy advisors will help Pawlenty host his first fundraiser for the Freedom First PAC, his new political action committee.
Pawlenty? He was an Epic Fail in Minnesota and now want to take his act nationally? Just what the GOP needs … another RINO candidate. Don’t waste your money donating to his PAC or anything the slimball “McCain Team” endorses. Wait for Palin, Bachmann, and the real conservatives, and try not to laugh too hard as McCainites bestow the kiss of death on Pawlenty’s career.
