The Harris Poll of Hereos
The Harris “Hero” poll asked 2,634 American adults to name one person living or dead they consider to be a Hero. The field was wide open which no multiple choice so participants could name anyone they wanted.
According to Harris Poll, the number one hero is … (wait for it) … Barack Obama.
Jesus Christ came in second.
I’ll let that sink in.
In a nice surprise Governor Sarah Palin made it onto the list, at number 21, which is awesomely awesome considering she has only been known to the American public since August 29, 2008, which was just 6 months ago. I don’t quite understand why there are 23 names on the list, instead of a say, Top 10 list, or Top 20. Whoever ranked No. 24 got gypped.
Shockingly, Tina Fey did not make the list. [/scarcasm off]
